Bust-a-Myth Series
Bust-A-Myth presents new work by artists from communities whose work is either
marginalized or has been appropriated by the dominant culture. The focus is
the art, but each presenter answers questions or raises issues of concern to
those communities. Bust-A-Myth uses art as a catalyst for cultural understanding
and expanding community through cross-cultural knowledge.
The Bust-A-Myth Series has been made possible for two years through the generous
support of The Pittsburgh Foundation Multi-Cultural Arts Initiative. Support
is still needed for this exciting project.
